Miles Clinton James: Producer/Songwriter

Miles Clinton James is a London-based Producer, Songwriter, and Multi-Instrumentalist.

Known for his passion for blending classic analogue recording, Miles has managed to
create a unique warmth in his modern sonic canvas.

At the heart of his process is his meticulously curated recording studio, based in the
notorious Konk Studios, owned by Ray Davies.

This analogue haven allows Miles to infuse every record with depth, colour, and authenticity.

His musicality and technical mastery enable him to push collaborators to their creative and
sonic limits, resulting in cuts on Little Simz’s Mercury Prize-winning album Sometimes I
Might Be Introvert
, Yussef Dayes’ Ivor Novello-winning and Brit-nominated Black Classical
Music
, the formative Sault albums, and Foals’ Life Is Yours.

Miles is a trusted creative force for a multitude of artists.

His collaborations include, but are not limited to, Sault, Maggie Rogers, Odeal, Little Simz,
Foals, Kokoroko, Cleo Sol, Michael Kiwanuka, Tom Odell, Nia Smith, Yazmin Lacey, and many more.

Most recently, he has had releases with the highly anticipated debut from Venna Malik, the
latest from Kokoroko, Tuff Times Never Last, Tom Misch’s Six Songs, and the much-celebrated
return from Little Simz, Lotus, which is co-written, produced, and arranged by MCJ in its entirety.
